Hawaiian Style Wagyu Burger

No matter the season, this grilling favorite will make it feel like summer. It’s a flavor-heavy Hawaiian Style BBQ cheeseburger that will taste like you’re eating it on the beach.

Ingredients

  • Burgers

    • 2 lbs. American Wagyu Ground Beef Buy Now +
    • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
    • 4 thick-sliced pineapple rings
    • 1 large red onion (peeled)
    • 4 Tbsp BBQ Sauce
    • 4 Brioche buns
    • 8 slices of Kurobuta Ham Buy Now +
    • salt and pepper

  • Form the American Wagyu ground beef patties into 8 oz. patties by hand. Season liberally with salt and pepper.

  • Heat grill to about 400 degrees and place the burger patties directly on the grates – or use a grill-grill safe skillet as we have done in the photos shown here.

    10 minutes
  • After 10-12 minutes, flip the burgers. Add your sliced pineapple and red onions to the grill. After another 10 minutes, place cheese on burgers.

  • Close lid for one minute to melt cheese.

  • Pull everything off the grill, stack and add sliced Kurobuta ham and bbq sauce.
